Ugh, Vista -Shudders-
Well from what I could tell from my personal experience with Vista, it seems not to like any illegal business at all. Which happens to include anime--which is why I spent the money for it to be removed from my laptop. But you could always try Media Player Classic, and you may have to download a codec thinger for it :3

EDIT: Real Player Sucks in my eyes D:<

Ah, goodie. It's the easier to work with files >_>
I'd just get Media Player Classic, and open that up ->File->Quick Open -> Then find the video you want to watch.
If it says you need a codec post the error it says and I'll fix it xD.

Oh, that explains a lot now. o3o. Well from what I read on the interwebs, Episodes like that are encoded and that's what Windows Movie Maker can't import.
I'm not sure but you could try a avi to wmv converter and that may help. Certainly not 100% sure though. I never had any real good luck trying to convert my files, cause I'm not used to it >_>

If anything I wouldn't even know where to get one for free. All I saw was trials and ones you buy. and I'm too lazy to look up crack files on torrent sites. If you want to try yourself try searching stuff like Avi to WMV converter.
